Squarefield acted as exclusive financial and debt advisor to Wagram on the acquisition of Creamy Creation
On April 17, 2019, it was announced that our client Wagram Equity Partners (“Wagram”) would acquire the cream liqueur manufacturer Creamy Creation in Rijkevoort, the Netherlands (“Creamy Creation” or the “Company”) from Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. (“FrieslandCampina”), subject to regulatory approvals. The completion of the transaction, including drawing on the required senior credit lines, took place on 1 November 2019.
Since its establishment in 1979, Creamy Creation has developed itself into a successful player in the segment of alcoholic cream liqueurs. The transaction includes the cream liqueurs production business in Rijkevoort, a sales office in Paramus, USA and a long-term contract with its production partner in Batavia, USA. The Company has over 80 employees, including dedicated R&D teams in the Netherlands and in the USA. Driven by a high level of innovation and responsiveness to consumer needs, Creamy Creation will continue to develop and sell a wide range of distinguishing cream liqueurs to its global client base.
Wagram
Wagram is an independent investment company with a long-term perspective. Its business is making investments in private companies through controlling ownership positions. Wagram will focus on the long-term growth of Creamy Creation.
