Squarefield acted as exclusive financial advisor to Scholtus Group Holding in relation to the acquisition of Big Creek Food LLC
Scholtus Group Holding via its US entity Scholtus Petcare Inc (“Scholtus”) acquired Big Creek Foods LLC (“Big Creek Foods”) to expand its geographical presence and to have local production capacity in the United States. Squarefield acted as exclusive financial advisor to Scholtus on this transaction.
Over the last years Scholtus invested heavily in the expansion of the production capacity of soft chews, functional supplements, training treats, extruded treats and meat snacks in the Netherlands. Scholtus also obtained export permits to export to the USA but decided to pursue a production facility in the USA at the same time. “We are very impressed by the passionate team and the quality of the products at Big Creek Foods.
