Squarefield acted as financial advisor to Royal De Heus on the acquisition of Golpasz
On July 7, 2021, our client De Heus Animal Nutrition (“Royal De Heus” or the “Company”), a Dutch provider of animal nutrition, announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Golpasz S.A. (“Golpasz”), a Polish compound feed company.
Golpasz is, with annual volume sold of almost 500,000 tonnes of compound feed, one of the leading feed producers on the Polish market. This acquisition is consistent with De Heus’ ambition of further strengthening its leading position in Poland.
The proposed acquisition is subject to approval of the Polish Office of Competition and Customers Protections (UOKiK). Squarefield acted as financial advisor to Royal De Heus together with its Polish partner office, M2G.

Golpasz, headquartered in Golub-Dobrzyń, Poland, offers a complete range of compound feeds for multiple animal categories, including turkey, broilers, pigs and cattle (meat and milk). The company operates four modern production sites that are favourably located in relation to the most important livestock farming regions.
