Squarefield acted as exclusive financial advisor to Remkes Convenience on the sale to Storteboom Food Group

On 20 January 2026, the shareholders of Remkes The Poultry Family (“Remkes”) entered into a definitive agreement to sell the Barneveld production facility of its subsidiary Remkes Convenience (the “Company”) to Storteboom Food Group (“Storteboom”). Remkes is a leading family-owned poultry business with nearly 100 years of expertise in the sector. Following this transaction, the production and commercial activities of Remkes Convenience will be centralised at Remkes’ BREEAM Outstanding certified main production facility in Epe under Remkes Food Products.

Through the centralisation in Epe, Remkes can fully leverage its production capacity and benefit from more efficient deployment of production resources. Additionally, with expansion investments planned in Epe, Remkes will broaden its product portfolio. Together, these initiatives will contribute to the group’s strategic sustainable growth ambitions from its Epe location, where all production facilities are now concentrated.
