Squarefield acted as exclusive financial advisor to Parcom on the acquisition of Group of Butchers, a portfolio company of Equistone Partners Europe

In December 2020, our client Parcom, a Dutch investment firm, finalised the acquisition of Group of Butchers, a leading supplier of artisanal deli meat products, from Equistone Partners Europe, a UK investment firm.

With the support of Equistone Partners Europe, Group of Butchers has defined a strategic route of organic and inorganic growth and has strengthened its positioning with leading retailers and end-consumers as preferred supplier of processed deli meat products. Going forward, Parcom will give a boost to this strategic route by acting as sparring partner for management and by actively supporting the integration of recently acquired companies. With Parcom’s proven experience and widespread network, Group of Butchers will exploit the further sustainable upside potential and continue its strong performance.
