Naturkost Übelhör is a leading international supplier and processor of organic and specialty food ingredients. The Company offers a diversified portfolio of organic and specialty food ingredients including chia, quinoa, a wide range of seeds, premium nuts, dried fruits, superfoods, and more. With its HQ in Germany, the Company sources its main products amongst other in Mexico and Peru to guarantee the highest organic quality.
Under its new ownership, the Company aims to further grow in the highly attractive and dynamic organic ingredients market.
The sale of Naturkost Übelhör was overseen by Squarefield, a leading Food & Agri focused corporate finance advisor with offices in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Antwerp.

Naturkost Übelhör is a leader in the supply and processing of a wide range of organic and specialty ingredients. The Company focusses its commercial activities on Germany and surrounding countries, whilst sourcing high quality organic ingredients in Peru, Mexico, other Latin American countries, and Asia. With a wide range of (organic) ingredients including chia, quinoa, superfoods, seeds, and nuts, the Company serves food-, pet food-, wholesale-, bakery- and retail companies in Europe. In its main product categories, chia and quinoa, the Company offers the reputable brands Sachia, Deguste, and Gaia. The Company employs c. 140 employees.
