Squarefield acted as exclusive financial advisor to Kennemervis Groep on the sale of Fishmasters to Gebroeders Kramer
On October 1, 2020, Gebroeders Kramer (or ”Isola Fish”) and Fishmasters, a subsidiary of Kennemervis Groep, came to an agreement to sell Fishmasters to Gebroeders Kramer. Parties expect to finalise the transaction before the end of October.
The acquisition offers Gebroeders Kramer the opportunity to continue to expand its activities, achieve growth and develop a facility that meets set requirements now and in the future. Gebroeders Kramer will take over the activities of Fishmasters, as well as the land, buildings and machinery. Gebroeders Kramer will translocate its current activities to Noordgat 1 on Urk, the Netherlands, and build and renovate the property. The vast majority of Fishmasters’ staff will join Gebroeders Kramer.
By selling Fishmasters, Kennemervis Groep can focus even more on its other growing activities in the processing and trade fish as well as the recently acquired activity in vegetarian products. Gebroeders Kramer and Fishmasters are complementary and intend to enhance their competences by working together for further customer satisfaction and growth.

Fishmasters works together with its clients to find solutions for the constantly changing demands, e.g. increased demand for wheat free products in the UK, foodservice customers looking for ready-to-eat, retail customers seeking for convenient oven/ air fryer products.
