The Flavour Farm, a portfolio company of Cibus Capital, on the acquisition of RedStar Dinteloord and RedStar Sales
On September 5, 2025, The Flavour Farm signed an agreement to acquire RedStar’s Dinteloord cultivation facility (“RedStar Dinteloord”) and the RedStar brand name & sales organisation (“RedStar Sales”), subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Closing of the transaction is expected to take place in the course of 2025.
This transaction marks a strategic expansion that will strengthen The Flavour Farm’s presence in the European premium tomato market and enhance its value proposition to retail partners. With the ambition to build a European network of sustainable, high-tech greenhouse operations for local, year-round production, the acquisition is a defining step forward.
RedStar Dinteloord site brings a modern, state-of-the-art greenhouse and a highly capable team to The Flavour Farm’s production platform, significantly enhancing its cultivation capacity. RedStar Sales contributes established brands and proven commercial expertise, expanding The Flavour Farm’s market reach and strengthening its customer relationships.
The Flavour Farm
The Flavour Farm is a platform company of UK-based private equity firm Cibus Capital. The platform currently includes Duijvestijn Tomaten, acquired in 2023, and aims to build a European network of sustainable, high-tech greenhouse operations dedicated to local, year-round production.
